Weekend Update.

Why oh WHY must I interrupt my sleep schedule? I enjoyed sleeping in for 3 days; however, I managed to feel like absolute TRASH each and every morning. I know you're not supposed to sleep much longer then you do typically...but do I listen...absolutely NOT! Boy, was I tired this morning!!

All in all, I really enjoyed my relaxing weekend. Josh and I did a little bit of shopping and spent a little bit too much money. However, I did score this Fantabulous red pea coat...I can't wait until the weather finally cools off for good. I've been searching for a red coat for a while now, but have been unable to find the right one, until now. I still think it's going to take some time to get used to the belt, though.

I experienced an intense sugar overload this weekend, as well. What can I say...sugar is my weakness...and I enjoyed every minute of it. That is until I recounted the whole weekend on Monday night and was utterly disgusted with myself! Oh well...you can't go back in time!

We also checked out another townhome; however, it was definitely a NO! We are continuing to keep our fingers crossed and most importantly praying for the right house to become available for us. A little over 3 weeks and counting until we don't have a place to live...Yikes!

We also had an unforgettable experience of Frogmore Stew. What's that you might ask? Well, it's potatoes, kielbasa, shrimp, corn on the cob, onions, scallops, clams, etc seasoned with Old Bay and pressure-cooked in large pots. Then, the meal is dumped on your table and you eat with your hands. I attempted to use a fork (not so much for the dirty fingers), which was quickly snapped in half by an observer! It was a LOT of fun!!
